WHAT IS BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT AND HOW DO YOUR DONATIONS HELP?
The Rotunda realises the importance of helping and supporting parents around the time their baby dies. When this happens, a team of staff is available to help patients and their families to get through such a difficult time in their lives. The bereavement support team consists of the bereavement midwife, the chaplain and the bereavement social worker. Donations to the Bereavement Support Fund help the bereavement support team to deliver the best service possible.
The Rotunda Foundation (formerly known as the Friends of the Rotunda) is the official fundraising arm and registered Charity (CHY20091) for the Rotunda Hospital and operates entirely on revenue it raises each year and does not receive any State Funding.
